The Previsualization Society was founded to provide an ongoing platform and resource devoted to the development of previs to maximize its value and effectiveness for many different people and markets.  Previs has matured but it is also still evolving and the Previsualization Society will provide a way to document and discuss shared experiences, examples, knowledge and input to continue shaping the previs medium and its future workflows.

The Previsualization Society is an inspiration and result of the ASC-ADG-VES Joint Technology Subcommittee on Previsualization, whose industry-wide efforts on previs themes laid the groundwork for a permanent previs organization over a period of 18 months. The Previsualization Society will take up such key work as publishing standards, promoting education and providing useful tools for the challenges of previsualization.
